We love manufacturing – rolls made in Germany
In our works #3 three hall bays are dedicated to CNC manufacturing and assembly of our Paper Technology Division products. Particular attention is paid to the manufacture and repair of rolls, allowing faster and even more cost-efficient production of what are the core elements of paper machines as well as of Bellmer belt filter presses. Bellmer develops, designs, manufactures and installs all the types of roll which are required by both our Paper and Separation Technology divisions.

It is our philosophy to make the best possible use of our knowledge for our customers’ benefit. As a result, we manufacture high-precision, innovative and rotationally symmetric rolls up to 9,000 mm in length and 1,100 mm diameter. Our state-of-the-art machine technology allows us to provide machining of various contours as well as turning of specific roll types up to 16 tons according to drawings and samples provided by the customer.
With our well-established skills in the design and manufacture of rolls, as well as our experience in handling a diversity of materials in the production process, you are assured of an optimum combination of tailor-made solutions. We manufacture rolls with journals, stationary shafts or one-sided bearings. We even manufacture those individual designs required for absolute smooth running or high temperatures right here in works #3. According to your specific requirements we supply the full range of surface structures, including spiral, rhomb, precision-turned, belt/stone ground or high-gloss polished.

We also offer our customers a full rolls service, which includes, for example, the dismantling, cleaning and repair of suction rolls, if this proves necessary once various parameters have been checked. Equipped with up-to-date machining centres, we can carry out all the balancing and overhauling work which is essential for the durability of components in a fast and cost effective manner.
